Links with the community

Although Kiddiecare is a private nursery we do have very good links with the local schools. Prior to starting school we have arrangements for visits into the reception class each week and the reception class teachers reciprocates these visits. We do invite members of the public in to assist in our teaching programme such as police, fire, health professionals and parents who may wish to offer their services/skills with the children.

We are happy to work with the school and family to ensure a smooth transition for children and will develop an Action Plan to assist this process.

All visitors to the nursery must sign the ‘visitors book’.
