Lost Children

We will endeavour not to lose your child but our procedure is as follows.

Discussions with the staff and a full search of the nursery will be undertaken while at the same time the remaining children in our care will be reassured and will continue with their daily routine where possible.

Contact to the local school, the parent/carer, Ofsted and the police, informing them of the situation and a search of the school grounds will begin.

If appropriate, the child/ren’s usual route home will be retraced.

If the child/ren have not been found at this stage then local authorities will be contacted.
